Dear Parent(s) and/or Guardian(s),
Welcome to your child’s fifth grade year at Henry Ford Elementary School! My name is Sereen Awada, and this is my 16th year teaching. We are going to have a busy and productive school year, filled with fun and exciting learning activities, social events, and much more. Throughout the school year, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have about your child or other school issues. I will do the same. I believe keeping the lines of communication open between home and school is a key component to the success of a child’s education. I will keep you informed of our classroom policies, curriculum, your child’s progress, and any information that will aid in making this year successful and memorable! I will be communicating with you through our class blog, homework folder, phone calls, letters, emails, and/or conferences.
