Are You Ready for Winter Break? Read This Long Message :)

Hello parents and students,

There are NO learning labs today. We did some fun activities during their special time and enjoyed our last day together.

I can’t believe that the year is almost over. As we know, the year 2020 was full of unexpected surprises and challenges but also was a great time to learn new things and grow as a person.

I hope 2021 will be a better year and we can go back to our “normal” times.

I will not assign a packet or assignments but this is a great time to catch up on missing work and work on things you may struggle with. Every student went up at least one level in reading, to maintain this make sure to read at least 30 minutes a day on benchmark, RAZ kids or actual books from home. If you are struggling with multiplication, work on skip counting, use IXL or click on the blue folder that says “Math Resources” for additional websites.

Don’t forget the saying “New year, new YOU”. If you were unorganized and lost your things before, 2021 can be a new, fresh start. Make sure to have a quiet area with a table that you can write on. Have a bin with ALL your supplies so you are not looking or losing things. Dollar tree has bins and whiteboard markers for $1.00. Please don’t lose any of the resources I gave you yesterday either.

Our Winter Break will start 12-21-2020 until 01-03-2021. Our first day back from break will be 01-04-2021.

If you need more help or not sure where to find something, send me a message on schoology and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Happy Holidays,

Mrs. Attia
