Summary for the Week

Hello!

This was our first full week of school and it was awesome! We learned about bar graphs, forces and motion, map skills, long I/short I, fables, and narratives. At night, ask your child what they learned in school so they can reflect what happened throughout the day. We did start NWEA testing this week and will continue to test next week.

I had many parents and students ask me about books. I will be sending books home for students to read daily but the school book room is still not available to the staff. The school is reorganizing the books to help the students become more successful. Please be patient with us and I will send books home as soon as the book room is available. In the mean time, we have library checkout every Friday where students can check out two books a week.

I will add pictures of students under photo gallery throughout the year.

If you have any concerns or questions please feel free to contact me. Enjoy your weekend with my friends 🙂

I’m excited to continue this journey with my students!
