Art Teachers Visit Rovin and Motawi!
Thanks to a generous Professional Development grant from the Michigan Art Education Association, Dearborn’s Art teachers were able to take a field trip! We spent half of the day touring Rovin Ceramics learning how clay is made. This is where all of our clay comes from to create projects with our students in our school art rooms. The other half of the day was spent at Motawi Tileworks, which owns Rovin Ceramics. We saw the process of tile making and even got to make one of our own!!
