Language Arts
- 30 minutes of reading daily! This may include time spent doing any of the following or spent reading ANY books of the student’s choice.
- Keep a daily journal of your time off. Write about the books you read, what you are doing. You can write stories. Anything! Just keep writing!
- Readworks– Provides K-12 teachers with a large, high-quality library of curated nonfiction and literary articles, along with reading comprehension and vocabulary supports, formative assessments, teacher guidance, and more. Must have an account, but they are free.

Science
- Mystery Science – Mystery Science features multimedia science units for K-5. Each lesson consists of a series of short videos and prompts guide student discussion. This is followed by an experiment that can be done at home.

Section 2:
Is the Republic of Berwagana really a republic? Why or why not? Write a paragraph taking a position on this question. Give three reasons to support your position.
