I can explain what copyright is by writing a sentence.
I can demonstrate how to follow copyright when using a quote from an internet site by writing a paragraph with proper citation.
Here is an example of how to give credit;
According to copyrightkids.org, “Copyright is a form of protection given to the authors or creators of “original works of authorship,” including literary, dramatic, musical, artistic and other intellectual works.”
I can research the Wampanoag and describe what they might have brought to the first Thanksgiving by writing a paragraph. Copy and paste the URL of the website where you got your information at the bottom of the paragraph.
Use Britannica School or Kid Rex
Students will apply knowledge of of sentence structure and punctuation by editing their description of the forces acting on the marble in the marble machine.
Go to Google classroom and edit last week’s work. Make sure you have at least three examples that name some part of the marble machine and the forces acting on it. Make sure you have capital letters and periods on all sentences. When you finish, work on the Monster High Halloween Challenge.
