Today is a rainy day, and the perfect day to sing the song, “Good Morning Mr. Sun”, to your family. Remember, it is the song we sing every morning on the carpet? It starts like this: Good morning Mr. Sun, our day has just begun, we love to see your smiling face, good morning Mr. Sun. Tra lalalalala, tra lalalalala, and repeat this part and clap your hands too! Tell your family what your favorite part of the day was. Remember, to tell your family we walked in the long hallway and saw the school office, the cafeteria and played in the gym, We had so much fun!
Activities for today:
Today, we are going to do our Morning Circle Time together.
-Sing Good Morning Mr. Sun to your family.
-Write your first name and last name, (remember to leave a space between your name),
-Write and say today’s date, which is Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
-Sing the song, Today is Wednesday, today is Wednesday, happy, happy Wednesday, happy, happy Wednesday, how are you, how are you?
-Try to tell your family, all of your friends that sit on the carpet together every morning, try to remember all 16 of your friends. I will give you a clue… we have 9 boys and 7 girls. Remember your two teachers too!
-Yesterday, our number of the day was 1 one, today, our number is 2 two.
-Write the number 2 and the word two.
-Color two objects, maybe your favorite fruit, toy, or shape.
-Find 2 two things in your house that are the same, and two things that are different.
Can you guess what number we will talk about tomorrow?
