Biography Report

Hello parents,

Since our theme for this month is SPORTS, Students are going to read/research about an athlete and complete the flip book. The flip book has been sent home today with the rubric. If students finish their flip book before the due date they may bring it in so we can start presenting!

March Madness!

Dear parents,

To celebrate March is Reading Month, we will be having a few contests. Our theme is SPORTS. To get the spirit of things we will have a March Madness Reading bracket. Our first goal is to beat Ms. Watts’ class in reading minutes next week.  To do this we need to read 30 minutes each night, if your child is able to read longer that will be added and a sport icon will have to be colored. The class with the most minutes the end of next week advances to compete against a first grade winner. WE CAN DO THIS!

Also, the log, the coloring sheet, and the reading response questions (they choose one for each time read) has all been sent home.
