“The Diary of Anne Frank” Act 2
Hello Hornets!
We will finish reading the play “The Diary of Anne Frank” this week. Upon completion, students will take a test for Act 2 on Monday. We will review for the test on Friday, students can use their review packets to study for the test.
Students will also be working in class to analyze textual evidence that supports an analysis of what the text says explicitly by writing a literary character analysis essay.
The Diary of Anne Frank
After completing the background knowledge, we finally were able to read, “The Diary of Anne Frank” and will continue reading the play for the next 3 weeks. As we read, students will be completing their packet after every scene. The play includes 2 Acts and 10 scenes. Upon completion of each Act, students will be taking a test. The packet will be used as a study guide.

Students will be reviewing the background information of the play The Diary of Anne Frank. As we are reading, students will be able to identify the elements of drama as well as demonstrate an understanding of how a particular scene contributes to the development of the plot, setting, and theme.
