This Week in Language Arts

Monday-Students will continue practicing their parts for Reader’s Theater to perform a scene from The Prince and the Pauper for classmates.

Tuesday-Quiz over The Prince and the Pauper play by Mark Twain (see link to The Prince and the Pauper text at the bottom of the page)

Wednesday- Read “Twain’s Tales Transplanted to Today” and complete double bubble graphic organizer comparing Twain’s play to the 2007 movie version.

Thursday -Take notes on the movie version of The Prince and the Pauper to identify elements of the story

Friday-Finish notes and begin compare/contrast outline comparing the movie to the play in preparation for writing a compare/contrast essay
