This Week in Language Arts

NEW SEMESTER=NEW NOTEBOOK

Since we are heading into the 2nd semester, we would like to take this opportunity to get the students re-organized.  Therefore, we are asking students to bring in a new composition notebook by Friday, February 2nd.

WEEK AHEAD

This week we will focus on writing a compare and contrast essay using the graphic organizer we filled out last week on The Prince and the Pauper play versus movie.

Monday: 1/2 Day Watch Hidden Figures (NWEA reward)

Tuesday:  Write essay introduction (Hook, Background Information and Thesis)
