The Most Dangerous Game

We started our new reading text:  “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell. Students are reading, annotating, thinking critically, inferring, citing textual evidence, and identifying new terms to add to their tool kit. Students were able to connect to text and infer in writing about key events/ components through our “See-Think-Wonder” group activity. Attached is a copy of our class text and a link to an audio version for students to access at home to assist with reading.

Students are also working on “Article of the Week” annotation with Soapstone strategy continued

Reminder:

  • Remember that we moved to Room G106 starting Wednesday 10/18/2017 (Go there tomorrow for ELA)
  • SSR reading at home continued!
  • Planners and SSR book on your desk at all times
