End of Week #2
Hi There Parents and Guardians – We are slowly adjusting to 5th grade. There are quite a few students still struggling with getting into a routine and following procedures & expectations. I didn’t expect that card flips would need to start this early, but they have. Today, the talking (side conversations) was out of control. Because of the poor choices, card flips also occurred.
Because of the excessive talking, we did not have time to take the Social Studies regions quiz. Please have your child review again this week, and we will take it on Monday. Additionally, they need to review their divisibility rules for a math quiz. These rules are essential for several math lessons throughout the year.
Lastly, here is a website for students to visit to figure out which step in the scientific method is missing from their homework:

Remind App
There is a great app named “Remind.” It allows me to send out text messages to parents to remind them of quizzes, tests, etc.
