What’s To Come

Good Afternoon My Studious Students,

I am missing you all a great deal. I can’t wait to meet with you in person again. I am currently in my classroom, and I must say it’s somber to be here without you. I know there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding us at the moment, but we will get through this. I apologize for the delayed message, but I had technical difficulties and I came to Fordson today to fix them, so I am now able to use my blog again. Here is what’s to come…

Please give me one to two days to set everything up and we will get going. Please check your emails and blogs every day in case there are updates and check for instructions on assignments.

I will be sending a remind code for you to join soon.

I am currently setting up google classroom. I will be inviting you all very soon to join the class. You will be submitting essays and other assignments via google classroom. I will provide feedback and grades for the essays and assignments.

Current Assignment:

Work on dialectical journals. Complete at least 3 a week. 25 entries are due by May 8. Therefore, you should have 15 done by April 13. I will be checking for those. More assignments to come very soon. Happy Reading!

Complete Bellwork: all the bellwork vocabulary words are posted on this blog. Look for the words and complete them as we would in class. We are on word 20 “compassion”. Complete up to word 36 “anecdote” by April 13. I will post quizzes and tests via google later. Look for more instructions later.

I love you all a great deal, and more than anything I want you all to stay safe and healthy. I appreciate all the joy you bring into our classroom each and every day. I am looking forward to being embraced by your positive energy again. Take this time to also reflect on what we all take for granted. I know I am. Reflect on your life and what you truly value; we have been given the gift of time. Let’s take advantage of that. Wake up and watch the sunrise and take it in; have meaningful conversations with your parents and siblings; read a good book; play games or read with your younger siblings; just love one another and be kind to people. I am here if you need me. Take care!
