‘Tis the season for testing!

We are finishing up the M-Step this week for 3rd and 4th grade.  Next week we will begin NWEA.  Please make sure your children get a healthy breakfast and a good night’s sleep, so they can do their best.

NWEA – How Can You Help Your Child Be Successful?

Image result for image of computer test

It is NWEA time!  During the month of January, your child will be taking the NWEA on the computer.  This test measures what your child has learned this year.  To show growth, and to be successful, it is important your child tries his or her best.

Here are some things you can do to help your child be successful:

*Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep

* Give them a healthy breakfast with plenty of protein, and little sugar to fuel his or her brain.

*Does s/he have all the tools s/he needs?  Does s/he have his or her glasses, or medication?

*If s/he is sick, please keep him or her home.  We can make up the test another day.

*Remind him or her to take his or her time on the test.

Thank you for your support!
