Are you, and/or your child having trouble with Eureka Math homework? You can go to YouTube and type in Eureka Math + whatever module and lesson you would like, and watch a “how to” video for that lesson. Very helpful!
Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser
Today, Monday, September 23, 2019, is the fundraiser to help send DuVall 4th and 5th graders to camp. You can access the flyer on Duvall’s PTA facebook page, or pick one up in the school office.

And so we begin another new school year. I am thrilled to be spending my second year at DuVall Elementary. I will be pushing in to several classrooms to work with students on my caseload as well as some MTSS students.
ABC Countdown begins tomorrow!
Our ABC countdown begins tomorrow, Friday, May 3rd.
May 3 is A is for Animal Day-wear animal print or dress like your favorite animal. I am tying mine into Star Wars day. I will be wearing my Wookie t-shirt.
May 6 is B is for Bubble Gum Day – you will be treated to a piece of sugar free gum!
May 7 is Career Day – dress like what you want to be when you grow up! I wanted to be a meteorologist and a waitress. I did the waitress gig for a long time.
May 8 is Doughnut Day – you will be treated to a donut today! Wilderness State Park in Northern Michigan had the BEST. Too bad they don’t make them anymore.
May 9 is Epic Superhero Day – wear a shirt from your favorite superhero today. If mine comes in the mail in time, I will be Bruce Wayne’s alter ego.
May 10 is Fruit Day-bring a special fruit for snack for yourself today. Hmm…decisions, decisions…banana? strawberries?

Special Olympics Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser
This Sunday, is the Special Olympics Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at the Knights of Columbus hall at 23663 Park Street, in Dearborn, near Michigan and Outer Drive. It is from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Cost is a $10 donation, $5 for children 10 and under. There will be basket raffles, 50/50 and a bake sale as well!
