Welcome back!
I hope that everyone had a fun Spring Break and was able to enjoy time with family and friends.
Lindbergh students can continue to complete the reading logs and earn charms for their keychains/bracelets through this week. We’ll finish up the March is Reading Month incentives this week. We’ll also be working on our publishing center books and starting to make Google Slides presentations.
Maples students will be working on Google Slides presentations and improving their already great keyboarding skills.
Have a great week everyone!

Lindbergh – March is Reading Month!
Students are reading more than ever this March! Our building theme is “Be An Olympic Reader”.
Also students are able to read and earn up to 5 different tags for their keychain, just for reading! The students read a book for each of the five areas- fiction, non-fiction, biography, entertainment, and free choice. Fill out the form they received during media class, bring it to me during class, and start filling up your keychain! I do have some extra for the students who want to go above and beyond.

We’re finishing our research projects on MyON- great work everyone! Stay tuned for exciting events for March is Reading Month.
Welcome back!
I hope everyone had a great mid-winterbreak!
I’m really pleased with the research projects that the students have been working on. The projects were assigned on MyON. Books were selected for students to read, information was gathered, and findings were presented.
Thursday is March 1, and we’re getting ready for March is Reading Month. Stay tuned!
Research
We’ve been using print and non-print resources to search for information. The MyON program, which can be found by clicking on the app in CLEVER, provides many fiction and non-fiction books. We’ve used on-line books from MyON and traditional paper books from the media center to research several topics including dinosaurs, polar bears, and winter sports. Most students were assigned a project and have now completed it. Good job!
