We’ve been in school almost a month now, and autumn is finally here. Students have all checked out books from the media center and we’ve started working with computers during media classes.

All students come to the media center with their classroom teacher and our media secretary helps them check out books. Students in grades 1, 2, and 3 come to the media center once a week for class with me. They will learn how the media centers are set up, how to locate books, appropriate use of technology, research skills, and other related skills.

This week we heard the stories, Hansel and Gretel, Knuffle Bunny, and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. We’re also learning or reviewing how to log on and off of the desktop or Chromebook computers and beginning to learn digital citizenship.
