I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving break. Hard to believe that tomorrow is December already!  We have been doing an author study on Jan Brett, and focusing on her books Gingerbread Baby, The Wild Christmas Reindeer, and her newest one The Snowy Nap.  Check out her website, which can be found under that class links on the right side of my blog page.

Next week we will be starting Hour of Code!  Students will be learning how to write computer programs using the program Code.org.  We started practicing this week by using Code Avengers and made a tiger that roars, a frog that croaks, and a bird that flies! Code Avengers can be found on the link to the right of my blog also, and Code.org can be reached by our students by clicking on the blue CLEVER button on the left of the Dearborn Public Schools homepage.
