• Identifying story elements- characters, setting, problem, solution
• Identifying middle sounds in words
• Vowels- short and long
• Segmenting and blending sounds for cvc words
• Vowels of the week: a and e
• Sight word: are

Math:

• Ordering number 1-10 and matching numbers to quantities
• Understand the concept of one more

Writing:

• Narrative (personal) Writing- writing a story about a personal experience
• Brainstorming ideas using a graphic organizer or circle map
• Drawing an illustration with details about a given topic
• Providing a reaction with their writing (I felt…)
• Writing a phonetic sentence starting with a capital letter in the beginning, finger spaces, and period at the end.

Science:

• Weather in different seasons
• Predicting what the weather will be like on their birthdays based on the seasons

Social Studies:

• Needs vs. Wants
