This week we will cover the following:

ELA/Reading:

• Identifying story elements- characters, setting, problem, solution
• Retelling a story using transition words or picture cards
• Identifying ending sounds in words
• Letters of the week: l and r (last week was b and d)
• Sight word: my (last week was ‘to’)

Math:

• Ordering number 1-10 and matching numbers to quantities
• Understand the concept of one more

Writing:

• Narrative (personal) Writing- writing a story about a personal experience
• Brainstorming ideas using a graphic organizer or circle map
• Drawing an illustration with details about a given topic
• Writing a phonetic sentence starting with a capital letter in the beginning, finger spaces, and period at the end.

Science:

• Weather Conditions
• Weather in different seasons

Social Studies:

• Needs vs. Wants
