Hello! My name is Mariam Abdelsalam. I am teaching Language Arts at Fordson High School.

Welcome to my iBlog, here you will find information relating to our classroom such as assignments, pictures, late work and much more.  This electronic blog acts as an extension to our classroom. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from University of Michigan-Dearborn, my major is English and my minor is Linguistics. I hold a Secondary teaching certification in English and  a ESL (English as a Second Language) endorsement. I dedicate the majority of my time to lesson planning, volunteering in community based services, and spending time with my family. I have always had a deep passion for creativity, books and people.  I believe a person must be passionate about whatever (s)he pursues in life in order to make a difference. I cannot imagine pursing a more honorable career. I look forward to attending graduate school to further my knowledge in the educational field.
