Dear Families,
I cannot believe that the year is starting to wind down. I had some dates for upcoming events that I wanted to pass on to you.
We will be having a special Mother’s Day Tea, on Thursday, May 10th from 2:30-3:15. The tea will take place in our classroom, followed by a short music informance. If you are unable to attend a grandmother or aunt can come.
We have another field trip scheduled for, Tuesday, May 29th. We will be going to the Detroit Zoo for the day. We will need parent chaperones again. Please stop in the office and complete an I-chat form even if you are not sure you are able to go. Parents need to have an up-dated I-Chat on file in order to come on the field trip, or help in the classroom.
Our school-wide “Field Day” will take place on Thursday, June 7th. The kids will be outside playing games and doing lots of other fun activities.
We will be having our End of the Year Celebration on Monday, June 11th, with our rain day being Wednesday, June 13th. More information along with a Sign-up Genius will be posted as the date gets closer.
