Dear Families,

We truly enjoyed our final kindergarten field trip on Wednesday.  Thanks to the nine super chaperones who accompanied us and helped us so much! It may have been cloudy and wet on our way to the pond, formerly known as Henry Ford’s Rose Garden, but it didn’t dampen any spirits.  Take a look at some pictures that were sent to me by Logan’s mom and Billy’s mom.

Field Trip Info.

Dear Families,

Our kindergarten class is very excited about tomorrow’s field trip.  We will begin boarding the bus as soon as attendance has been taken, around 9:50 a.m.  Remember that tomorrow is a Late Start!

Helpful Hints:

  • Check the weather in the morning and make sure that your child dresses appropriately.  Several students were excited to wear “fancy dresses” tomorrow.  I reminded them that we are going on a pond study.  I would suggest long pants and long sleeve shirts, comfortable shoes or even boots.
  • Bug spray may be applied at home before the trip.
  • Bring a bag lunch, clearly marked with your child’s name on it.  Along with a drink, no glass please.
  • If you are a chaperone for this trip, please check your child’s red folder tonight for additional information.
  • If anyone is interested in bringing up some popsicles up to Levagood Park tomorrow, we would greatly appreciate it.

Any questions, don’t hesitate to send me an email.

As always, thanks for your continued support!

Ms. Wright
