Mad Science Today!

Dear Families,

Today as we continued our investigation of Living Vs. Non-Living Things.  We compared Earthworms to Gummy Worms. Our kindergarten scientists were fascinated to observe how the earthworms move.  A student in our class, Kayla, had a surprised today when her aunt came to volunteer!  Kayla’s aunt is a scientist and will soon have her PhD.  It was so exciting  to meet a real scientist!

Thanks to Ian’s mom, Eli’s mom, my friend Mrs. Anderson, and of course Kayla’ aunt for helping today!  Most of the pictures were taken by Eli’s mom. Thanks for being our photographer today, Mrs.Lamb!

Two More Things

As soon as I pressed the “publish” button, I knew I forgot two things!

1. Tomorrow is a Snuggle up and read day.  Students may bring a blanket or stuffed animal to read with BUT we are not having a pajama day!  Please remind your child  to dress appropriately!

2.  On Wednesday, April 1, please have your child return their Nightly Reading Homework.  Also, if they could wear their charm necklace too, that would be great!

Thanks!
