Dear Families,
We will be celebrating Halloween on Friday, October 30th. At Lindbergh, the kindergartners are the only students in the school who are allowed to wear costumes to school. So we feel very lucky!! This is what you will need to know about our Halloween morning on October 30th.
- If your child wishes, they may wear his/her costume to school. Please no masks or pretend weapons props.
- We will start our Kindergarten Halloween Parade around the school at 9:00 a.m. This is where we parade up and down the hallways so everyone can see our cool costumes. Parents are welcome to stay and take pictures. The parade lasts about 10 minutes. If you can’t make it, we will post plenty of pictures on the blog, so no worries! 🙂
- After the parade, the kindergartners will go upstairs to watch a Halloween video while parent volunteers transform our classroom into a Halloween Party Headquarters. If you can volunteer to help with the party, please leave a comment below.
- In the past, the party lasts until 11:15 a.m.
- At 11:15 a.m. students will change into their regular school clothes so costumes won’t need to be worn during lunch or recess. Please remember to bring a change of clothes.
Here are some items we need for the party: If you can donate any of these items, please leave a comment below. Please check the comments to see what is already taken so we don’t have duplicate items. I will post a finalize list a before the party.
