Dear Families,

I hope you enjoyed this beautiful long weekend!  Here is what you need to know:

Monday:  No School

Tuesday: Field trip to U of M-Dearborn Environmental Studies for a pond study and then off to Levagood Park.

  • Students need to arrive to school at the regular arrival time at 8:35 a.m.  Please make sure that you apply sunscreen and bug spray at home beforehand.  It is going to be a hot day so make sure that your child is dressed appropriately, especially make sure to wear good walking shoes.
  • Students need to bring a lunch in a disposable bag with their name clearly marked on it.  They will need to bring a drink, please no glass.
  • We have 7 chaperones going with us.  If you are a chaperone, please report to our classroom at 9:00 a.m.  This is where you will receive a list with the students that will be in your group.  There should be room on the bus for chaperones but you can drive separately if you would like.
  • We will eat lunch at U of M-Dearborn before heading to Levagood Park.

Wednesday:  Your child will be taking their spelling test today.  All library books need to be returned today.

Thursday:  We will have music with Mrs. Baloga.  We will plant flowers in the front of the school today.

Friday:  We will have computer lab with Mrs. Ackerman and gym with Mr. Murua today.

Due to the short week there will be no new spelling words or homework.  I am busying assessing your child’s progress so there will be no new books in their book bag this week.

Until next time….
