Dear Families,
Wow! Although I feel appreciated every day working with this awesome class of kindergartners, this week has been over the top. It all started yesterday when each kindergartner walked in the classroom giving me a beautiful rose. Here is what the bouquet looks like!
Then today each student surprised me with a “Ms. Wright” sticker on my favorite color shirt!
Thanks for making this week so special!
Ms. Wright

Hi Families,
Today we compared earthworms to gummy worms as we learn the differences between living and non-living. Although some students were hesitant to touch the earthworms at first, almost every student touched one by the end of the lesson. Thanks to Aailyah’s mom, Adam’s mom and Zach’s mom for coming and helping us today! We couldn’t have done this hands-on activity without them today. Thanks to Zach’s mom for being a great photographer!
Next, during our math lesson, which we have been working on measuring, we used gummy worms!
Have a great day!
Dear Families,
A huge thank you to Aailyah’s mom, Ben’s dad and Zach’s mom for helping us with Lindbergh’s Science Fair Boot Camp. It was great to see everyone there!
Now that Science Fair Boot Camp is over, I am excited to start planning the next event! 🙂
Invitations for Muffins With Mom were sent home on Friday. I can’t stress enough how we need every child to have someone come for them. If this is a concern, please let me know. For planning purposes, Muffins With Moms will take place on Friday, May 6th in our classroom. It will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. and will last about an hour.
Although invitations will be sent out at a later date, I would like dads to save the date for:

Good Luck!

We will also be taking the District Writing Prompt this week.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Dear Families,
Our kindergarten scientists sure had an exciting day! We were able to share our science boards with our own class as well as many other classes. It was an amazing sight to see our kindergartners talk about their experiment with the other kindergarten class, as well as third graders and fourth graders. They really seemed to enjoy this experience.
Although you will have a chance to see these boards tonight, here is a sneak preview!
Here we are sharing our boards with others!
Thanks for supporting your child’s learning!
See you tonight!
Ms. Wright

Our kindergarten class is counting down the days until Science Fair Boot Camp! Yahoo! It is only 8 days away. But we need awesome volunteers to make this event successful. If you or someone you know would like to help us, please copy the link below. This is a great opportunity for responsible high school or college-aged family members to earn community service hours.
