Valentine Cards:
Your child received a note about passing out Valentine cards in their red folder last Monday. It contains a list with the names of each student in our class. This is a fun way for your child to practice writing their own name as well as the names of their friends. If your child chooses to do this, please bring the cards on Tuesday, February 14th.
100th Day of School:
“Ms. Wright, the day flies by so fast when we get to hang out with you! ” exclaimed Keegan last week. I really feel the same way. I can’t believe that we are going to celebrate the 100th day of kindergarten on Wednesday, February 15th. Your child is invited to dress up as someone who is 100 years old, although some of the students think that is me. Ha!
We are also looking for donations of our 100 piece snack. If your family is able, send in a bag or package of a peanut-free snack. As part of our math, the students count out 10 groups of 10 different things as shown below. Please send in the 100th day snack donations on or before Tuesday. Examples: a bag of pretzels, raisins, teddy grahams, popcorn, etc. Thanks!
