With March is Reading Month in full swing now, our class was lucky enough to have two guest readers today!
Thanks to Billy’s mom for reading some favorite books by author Jan Brett. She even had the class engaged in some during and post-reading activities. Way to go Mrs. Schook!!
This afternoon, Mrs. DeNeen surprised us by stopping in and reading a great St. Patrick’s Day book and taught us all about Ireland. Thank you Mrs. DeNeen!

Future Important Field Trip Dates:
- April 2, 2014 Ann Arbor Hands-On Science Museum! Information and field trip permission slips will be sent home this Wednesday! If you are interested in being a chaperone for this field trip, please make sure that your background check has been approved in the office. If you haven’t filled out the paperwork, please see Mrs. Cathy in the office asap!. You will need to fill out a form and show your driver’s license. It takes two weeks to process! If you do not have your background check, you may not chaperone on this field trip! Don’t delay, do it today! It is for the safety of our Lindbergh students.
- May 14, 2014 U of M Dearborn Pond Study! Information and field trip permission slips will be sent home closer to the trip. Please save the date on your calendar!

Words of the Week: we will be studying the “ig” family. Examples: pig wig rig big fig Your child also received 2 individual words today. Please make sure these words are practiced at home.
Lindbergh’s Kindergarten Round-Up is on Tuesday, March 25 at 6:30 p.m. If you know of any children living in the Lindbergh area that will turn age 5 by October 1st, please let them know. We wouldn’t want anyone to miss out!
Parent Teacher Conference will be held on Thursday, March 27 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. This time around, I will not be having a conference with every family. These conferences are on a needed basis.
Finally, I can’t wait for Lindbergh’s Science Fair Boot Camp to finally be here! The weather forecast is looking in our favor! This event is on Thursday, March 20 and will start at 6:30 p.m. We are still in need of some volunteers! If you know of any enthusiastic people that might be interested in volunteering, please refer them to the link below. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, high school students that may need community service credit are encouraged to volunteer!
