Week of October 31, 2016

Dear Families,

I hope you are ready for our busy week in kindergarten.  Here is what you need to know:

Monday:

Happy Halloween! Your child is invited to wear his/her Halloween costume to school. Please no masks or pretend weapons!

At 9:00 a.m. the kindergartners will parade down the halls for the rest of the school to see with a short Halloween video and party afterwards.   Around 11:00 a.m., the students will change out of their costumes and we will begin our regular kindergarten routine.

Thanks to the following families who volunteered to bring the following items:

  • 24 *Krispy Kreme Donuts -Evan’s family
  • 1 gallon of apple cider-Olivia’s family
  • 12 apples-Ali’s family
  • fruit cups-Lilly’s family

Please return library books, Poetry Journals and Nightly Literacy Homework.  Make sure that your child has gym shoes and appropriate clothes for art.

Tuesday:

We will go to the Media Center to check out library books today. Don’t forget that we have music with Mrs. Baloga.  The Dearborn High Band will perform for the students who made the PBIS reward at 2:35 p.m.

Wednesday:

We will have Mad Science in the afternoon!

Thursday:

We will go to music with Mrs. Baloga.

Friday:

Dismissal is at 11:45 a.m. today.

Parent/Teacher Conferences reminder slips will be sent home soon.  If you didn’t have a chance to sign up during Open House, please let me know and we will get you on the schedule!

That is all for now!

Ms. Wright
