Dear Families,

Here is what you need to know for this week  in our classroom:

This week’s spelling words are:     big   fig    rig   wig    + 1 mystery “ig” words +2  individual words– Please make sure that your child is practicing all spelling words at home, especially their individual words. Although we practice spelling throughout the day at school, please make it a daily habit at home.

Leader in Me Habit 5:  We will  continue to study  Habit 5.    Please practice this habit at home with your child.

Poem of the Week: Mr. Sun

Monday:  This week’s homework will be sent home today- Making “ig” words and practicing number writing from 1-20.  Homework is due on Friday, March 2nd.

Tuesday:  Return library books.   Music with Mrs. Baloga.  Our students have been busy rehearsing for the Kindergarten Music Concert that will take place on Thursday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m.  Please mark your calendar, you won’t want to miss it!

Wednesday:  There will be a guest teacher in the morning so I can attend Science Leader training.  We will continue on with our investigation on the weather.  in the afternoon.  We will check out a new library book from the Media Center.

Thursday:  We will have music with Mrs. Baloga.

Friday: Please wear gym shoes.  We will go to the computer lab with Mrs. Ackerman.  Homework is due!
