Dear Families,

I hope you enjoyed this first fall weekend near the pool with your family! 🙂 Here is what you need to know for this week in our kindergarten class.

ABC Books:  Please work on the pages of Mm and Rr this week.  Both pages are due on Friday, September 29th. Make sure your child finds at least 3 pictures of each letter and stretches out the sounds of the word and writes these sounds under the picture.  Good Luck!

Leader in Me:  Please send in a picture of your child being “proactive” at home.  Due Monday, October 2nd.

New Nightly Homework will be sent home in your child’s red folder on Monday.  It is due on Monday, October 2nd.

Interested Field Trip Chaperones:  Make sure to have your background check completed in the office.  Remember that it takes 2 weeks to process.  Thank you in advance.

• Monday:   Wear gym shoes for gym.  Today we will also go to Art.  The “S” page in the ABC book are due today along with your child’s Nightly Homework (the soccer ball paper.) Please make sure that your child puts in their own homework in their red folder.  This is a great way to encourage your child to be “proactive” at home.
•  Tuesday:  Return library books today!  The students will have music with Mrs. Baloga.
•  Wednesday:  We will be having a “guest” teacher in the morning since I have Science Leader training.  I will be back after lunch.  We will be going to the Media Center to check out a new library book.
• Thursday:  Picture Day is today! You may send in your child’s Picture Day envelope any time this week.  Two students have already sent it in.  Please make sure to place it in your child’s red folder.  We will go to Music with Mrs. Baloga today.
• Friday:  ABC books (letters Mm and Rr) are due today.
