Dear Families,
I hope you are enjoying this beautiful fall weekend! Here is what you need to know for our upcoming week in our kindergarten class.
- Monday: Please return Poetry Notebooks, book bags and Nightly Literacy Homework today. Your child will need to wear gym shoes and appropriate clothes for art class.
- Tuesday: We will go to music with Mrs. Baloga today.
- Wednesday: We will go on our field trip to the Plymouth Apple Orchards today. Your child will still need to arrive to school at 8:35 a.m. with a bag lunch and drink, no glass please. For further info, see below.
- Thursday: We will go to music with Mrs. Baloga.
- Friday: We have a half day so dismissal is at 11:45 a.m.
Red Take Home Folders: Please check your child’s red take home folder each night and take out papers that do not need to be returned the next day. Thanks for your help in keeping everyone organized!
Words of the Week: a I ( former words of the week are: to the and he)
Raz-Kids: Your child has now been signed up for an interactive e-book series called Raz-Kids. Tomorrow all the login information will be sent home in your child’s red folder. Your child will have access to hundreds of books at home and school right at their current reading level. This is a perfect way to keep your child engage while learning important reading skills. We will practice using Raz-Kids in class so the students will be experts by the time they come home. Good luck and have fun.
Field Trip Information:
- Students need to arrive to school at 8:35 a.m.
- Students need to bring a bag lunch with their name clearly marked on the outside.
- Students need to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. If possible, have your child wear a “red” shirt for being a Lindbergh Flyer.
- Thanks to the 10 chaperones going on our trip with us. Please plan on driving to Plymouth Apple Orchards separately or carpooling with other parents. Maps and additional information will be given to chaperones on the morning of the field trip. Please arrive at our classroom at 9:15 a.m. and make sure to bring a lunch for yourself too. Remember if you are chaperoning, you cannot bring siblings with you.

Jeff would love to chaperone if there is still a spot available. (I think I forgot to put him on the field trip sign up sheet)
Sure. I will mark him down. The cost of the chaperones is $7.50. Thanks!
