Dear Families,

Hope you enjoyed the beautiful weekend.   Here  is what you need to know for this week:

• Letter book: We are studying the “bl” blend. The “bl” can be found anywhere in the word.
• Spelling Words:  red  bed  fed  wed

Monday:  Letter books will be sent home today.  Spelling tests will be sent home.

Tuesday:  Please return library books.  We will go to the Media Center, music and art today.

Wednesday: Today is Late Start.  School starts one hour later.  We will go to music today.

Thursday: Mad Science is today at 1:00 p.m.  We will be learning about the Parts of the Plants.

Friday:  Return letter books today.  It is Popcorn Friday, so bring your quarters if you are interested in buying popcorn.  We will go to gym and the computer lab.

Reading Groups:  I will be see reading groups this week.

Also, we will be taking the NWEA Math  test this week too.

That is all for now!

Next Monday, May 18th, we will be planting flowers outside at 10:00 a.m.  We could use a couple of volunteers.  Let us know if you are available.
