Triangle Congruence Intro. Investigation.

Students worked on constructing triangles based on different given measurements. They had others in their group check their work by remeasuring the angle and side lengths.

Once they cut out their triangles, they looked for a matching triangle with someone in the other group in the classroom. Once they found their match, they had to determine what made their triangles congruent (or what made them look the same, but not the same size). They categorized the whole class’s triangles into 6 different groups based on their findings. We will continue this discussion on Monday.
