Kindergarten Round-up at William Ford is on Tuesday, March 26th at 9:00. Parents who have a child who will turn five by September 1, 2019 please plan to attend.  If your child turns five by December 1, 2019 your child is also eligible for Dearborn’s Young 5’s Kindergarten.

**Sciencepalooza (Science Night) from 4:30-6:00.  LOTS of FUN and LEARNING! Activities and Stations hosted by the Michigan Science Center and assisted by Dearborn’s own STEM and Fordson students!

We will be purchasing caps and gowns for your child to wear during their June commencement ceremony. We will be purchasing them at an “early bird” discounted rate; therefore all money is due by Wednesday, March 8! Please send $20 in an envelope with your child’s name on it. Thank you!

A message sent on behalf of Superintendent Maleyko-

Due to extreme temperatures and wind chills all Dearborn Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

If weather conditions persist as predicted, the district will most likely remain closed. However, a decision on the status of school for Thursday will be made at a later time and most likely shared with the community on Wednesday. 

Please be careful and dress appropriately if you are headed outside. 

Please send in any empty paper towel rolls, toilet paper rolls, empty cereal boxes or small shoe boxes for a science project by Monday! Thank you!
