Wednesday, March 23: Parent-Teacher Conferences (only if you received a invitation from your child’s teacher).

Thursday, March 24: Spelling Test (then, men, pen, ten, when, den), Spring Fling: if you are donating items, please bring them in by Wednesday!

March 25-April 3: Spring Break

Kindergarten Shared Research Project

Kindergarten students participated in a shared research project about an endangered animal called the white-cheeked gibbon. This animal is particularly meaningful to William Ford because, after a school-wide vote, the white-cheeked gibbon was selected to be adopted through the National Wildlife Foundation as our Endangered Animal of the Year. Kindergarteners read about it, talked about it, drew pictures with labels and wrote about it over the course of several weeks. Their culminating project is this slide show, where each of the five kindergarten classes designed 2 slides that include pictures that they chose and captions that they wrote.

Enjoy the show!

Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum

We had SO MUCH fun today at the museum! The students made slime and got to play at a HUGE water table! They also got to build with big blocks and explore an ambulance! Be sure to ask your child about their favorite part of the day! If they LOVED the slime, check their backpacks – there is a recipe to make it at home!

All of the teachers and students want to also send a great big THANK YOU to our wonderful chaperones!

Enjoy your weekend!
