Friday, May 20 the Kindergarten classes will be hosting a bake sale after school. All money raised will go towards our fun day at the park. Donations of baked goods such as individually wrapped cookies, crackers, cakes, chips, juices as well as cupcakes will be greatly appreciated. You can bring these items in Thursday or Friday and put them on the cart labeled Kindergarten by the office!

Thank you in advance!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Next week we will be planting in the flower beds outside Mrs. Hodgkinson’s window and Ms. Bazzy’s window.

Behavior Expectations

As the weather gets nicer we are seeing more and more disruptive behaviors in Kindergarten. Please remind your child that they still need to be following directions and making good choices. Unfortunately, after 4 card flips students will start missing the PBIS party. The May PBIS party is the BEST PARTY ALL YEAR!! We would hate to see students miss out.

Did you know…?

Did you know that coloring can help students with their handwriting? Practicing staying in the lines is one of the first things we, as Kindergarten teachers, do with the students to increase fine motor skills. If you click on the following links you will find a lot of neat coloring pages. Please print them and have your child practice their coloring. When they are finished with a picture we would love to see it!

Clean Up Parade

Tomorrow is our clean up parade! Please wear your kindergarten t-shirt tomorrow.

We have our fingers crossed that the rain holds off so we can parade outside through the neighborhood instead of in the school hallways. It is important for all students to wear comfortable walking shoes (gym shoes) and dress for the weather. We suggest layers!

Please come watch our parade at 1:30! Line the streets of Steadman and Orchard! Cheer us on as we walk by! See you tomorrow along the parade route!
