This Week At William Ford!
Clean-up Parade on Wednesday @ 1:30!  Parade will begin in front of the school on Alber, to Steadman, to Hemlock, down Orchard to the WF playground. PLEASE plan to line the streets to cheer us on and then join us back on the playground! The Mayor and other City Officials, Dearborn Schools’ Officials and many others will be at our Clean-up Parade!

Kindergarten ONLY dismissal on Thursday, May 23rd at 1:00 to prepare for our NEW Kindergarten Students’ visitation day!
NEW Kindergarten Student Visitation on Thurs., May 23rd @ 1:45.  At 2:00 students visit kindergarten classrooms while parents meet with Mr. Higgins in the cafeteria. Parents must attend with their child.  Visit ends at 2:50.
PTA Meeting on Thursday, May 23rd @ 2:45 in the Media Center! PTA Board Elections will be held. Volunteers are needed for the Fun Day on June 10th!
Memorial Weekend…No School for students, Fri., May 24th-Mon., May 27th
New Water Fountains at William Ford are a Hit!
The new water filtration fountains at William Ford are a HUGE hit with students and staff! Thank you to Dr. Maleyko for making sure all schools received these new drinking/water bottle filling fountains. And, thank you to our district trades’ workers for installing!
Care to the Core Day is this Friday!
Join us Friday on the playground at 2:00 as William Ford celebrates Dearborn Schools’ Annual Care to the Core Day, 2019! William Ford’s ongoing efforts to promote Peace, Love and Kindness will be on full display as we gather in the shape of a traditional Peace sign on the playground field for a picture from a Drone! That is right, over 700 students and staff!
