Ask your child if s/he has been ZAPped?

ZAP is an acronym for Zeros Aren’t Permitted.  Students who have a zero for any assignment will be given additional time during lunch to complete the work.  This is not a punishment for the students.  We believe that failure is not an option and would like to provide additional time, support, and resources to ensure that each student has the opportunity to be successful.

Students with a zero will receive a pass from their teacher(s).  At the start of lunch, ZAP students get their food and then bring it, along with the incomplete work, to a classroom.  On Tuesdays, Mrs. Woolley and Mrs. Fayad will be working with students.  Wednesdays are with Mrs. Wiacek and Mr. Serazio.  Fridays are with Mr. Trapp, Ms. Rancilio, and Mr. Liggett.

Students will continue to be ZAPped until all assignments are completed.  Students are encouraged to be proactive and check Student Connect regularly so that missing work can be submitted before a ZAP pass is necessary.

If you have any questions or concerns about our ZAP policy, please contact any of the teachers listed above.
