Sensory Details + T-Q-E

DAILY AGENDA:

  1. Discussed the reading questions from “Dirk the Protector”
  2. Selected one of the 5 senses and then found the sentence(s) in the story that used sensory details to relay that sense
  3. Returned to our AoW and marked a thought [T], question [Q], and epiphany [E] in our annotations
  4. Met in a group to share our T-Q-E and then came to consensus on two ideas to share with the class
  5. Dismissal countdown

HOMEWORK:

  1. Complete theme essay, if not already submitted [check Student Connect for scores]
  2. Complete IXL skill for point of view & sensory details
