  3. Wrote a C-E-R as a pre-assessment for our argumentative writing unit

Talking on the train

DAILY AGENDA:

  2. Reviewed class norms and signed norms agreement page
  3. Finished reading and annotating article on bus seat belts that was started yesterday
  4. Using the train strategy, students met with a partner to discuss their opposing opinions
  5. Students read for 10 minutes to begin determining their individual reading rates

  2. Students logged into Chromebooks to continue NWEA reading testing
  3. If done with test, students recorded their score in their planner (along with their highest score from 6th grade)
  4. Students done with testing worked on a wordsearch, read their SSR books and/or completed work for another class
  5. Dismissal countdown
