Although we don’t celebrate Halloween in school, there are some students who may have a little “Halloween spirit” that they’d like to show. As a result, the administration has decided to allow costumes to be worn on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 under the following guidelines sent out by Mr. Oke:
Students may dress APPROPRIATELY for Halloween. Any costumes must be consistent with the dress code policy and MAY NOT interfere with the learning process or the teaching in the classroom.
The following rules must be followed:
- No Plastic or prop weapons of any kind
- No Masks
- No Make-up
- No Hats or Wigs
- No Costumes that are revealing
- Skirts and shorts must meet the fingertip length rule
- Nothing offensive
- Nothing distracting
- No fake (or real) blood
Any violators will be asked to change or be sent home.
