Today is the day to decorate doors!

One of our traditional March is Reading Month activities has always been to decorate classroom doors like our favorite books. Since we cannot have paper decorations in the hallways or on the walls with the current COVID guidelines, we are offering students the chance to decorate their own doors at home. If you don’t want to get into a project that elaborate, use the door pattern that is attached to the March is Reading Month virtual calendar. You can use the paper pattern to draw and decorate. Make sure to take a picture of your creation and send to Mrs. Hansen at hansenr@dearbornschools.org. Include your name and your teacher’s name. If you cannot find the door pattern, email Mrs. Hansen for one.

Christian (from Mrs. Bennett’s class) decorated his door with a Road Trip theme.
Mason (from Mrs. Hill’s class) decorated his door.
Morgan V. (in Mrs. Travis’s class) decorated her door to show a love of books.
Miles V. (in Mrs. Assenmacher’s class) is currently reading
National Geographic’s “Everything Dogs.”
