This is a really busy week and month.
March is reading month and we are recording the minutes the students read. Our school wide goal is 35,000 minutes for the month. I know we can reach this goal if all students are reading at least 20 to 30 minutes each day. Students will receive a weekly tracking sheet and I can reward students who return it with a parent signature! Look for the tracking paper tomorrow.
Homework for this evening:
ELA: read 20 to 30 minutes each day and track the minutes. Parents need to sign weekly. The first day I will collect the paper is on Friday, March 9. This week will be a short one because of the snow day last week, but everyone should participate.
