We are going on hunts today!

Color/Shape hunt – name a different color then a different shape for your child to find around the house. It could be a toy, in a book, something your child wears, or anything else around the house. Colors to look for – red, blue, yellow, purple, green, orange, white, black, brown, gray Shapes to look for – circle, oval, square, triangle, diamond, rectangle

Number hunt – write the numbers 0 – 10 on a sheet of paper, have your child go around the house looking for all numbers 0 -10. They could be found on toys, in books, on food boxes, on clothes they wear, or anywhere around the house.

Teen+ number hunt – write the numbers beyond 10 (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, etc.) up to whatever number you want your child to go to, on a sheet of paper. Have your child take the paper around the house to find those numbers. They could find them on toys, in books, on food boxes, on clothes they wear, or anywhere around the house.

سنذهب للصيد اليوم !
صيد اللون / الشكل : قم بتسمية لون مختلف أو شكل مختلف ليجده طفلك في جميع أنحاء المنزل . يمكن ان يكون لعبة في كتاب ، شيء يرتديه طفلك ،أو أي شيء حول المنزل .

صيد الألوان : الأحمر ، والأزرق ، والأصفر ، والبنفسج ، والأخضر ، والبرتقالي ، والأبيض ، والأسود ، والبني ، والرمادي .
صيد الأشكال : دائري ، مربع ، مثلث ، ماس ، مستطيل .

صيد الأرقام : اكتب الأرقام من صفر إلى عشرة ( ٠— ١٠)على ورقة اجعل طفلك يتجول في المنزل يبحث عن جميع الأرقام من ( ٠ —- ١٠ ) يمكن العثور عليها في الألعاب ، أو الكتب أو صناديق الطعام أو الملابس التي يرتديها ، أو في أي مكان حول المنزل .

الأرقام العشرية +صيد الأرقام : اكتب الأرقام التي تتجاوز ١٠ ( ١١-١٢-١٣-١٤-١٥-وما إلى ذلك ) حتى أي رقم تريد ان يذهب اليه طفلك على ورقة . واطلب من طفلك ان يأخذ الورقة حول المنزل للعثور على هذه الأرقام . يمكن ان يجدها في الألعاب أو صناديق الطعام أو الملابس التي يرتدونها أو في أي مكان حول المنزل .

Today let’s measure!  Help your child learn math terms and compare items by heights or lengths. Find some things around your house to compare to either your child or to compare to each other, like books, toy cars, dolls, chairs, or tables.  Talk with your child about if the chair is taller or if your child is taller, then which is shorter. Talk with your child if the book is longer or if the toy car is longer and then which is shorter. Use the words longer or taller and shorter. If your child is unable to compare, just use measurement words like long, tall, and short. 

I was able to get a classroom subscription to an online reading program, Red Apple Reading. Please send me your email address so that I can email you your child’s access information to the program. 

Lastly, I would like to have another class Zoom meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, at 11:00 am. I was able to see and talk with 6 kids last time, I would love to see even more tomorrow.

اليوم دعنا نقيس ! ساعد طفلك على تعلم مصطلحات الرياضيات وقارن العناصر حسب الطول والارتفاع .اعثر على بعض الأشياء  حول منزلك للمقارنة مع طفلك او للمقارنة مع بعضها البعض . مثل الكتب أو سيارات اللعب أو الدمى  او الكراسي أو الأجهزة اللوحية .  تحدث مع طفلك حول ما إذا كان الكرسي اطول او إذا كان طفلك اطول  ، او إذا كان الكتاب اطول او إذا كانت سيارة اللعب اطول  ثم اقصر . استخدم الكلمات طويل او اطول او اقصر  . إذا كان طفلك غير قادر على المقارنة ، فقط استخدم كلمات قياس مثل طويلة ، طويل او قصير .

تمكنت من الحصول على اشتراك في الفصل الدراسي في برنامج القراءة عبر الإنترنت، Red Apple Reading،  يرجى  إرسال عنوان بريدك الإلكتروني حتى أتمكن من إرسال معلومات  وصول طفلك إلى البرنامج بالبريد الإلكتروني .

Letter Activity – Write letters of the alphabet on a sheet of paper, leaving out some letters with a blank line instead. Have your child fill in the missing letters from the alphabet. Example: A B __ D E F ___ H I __ K L M This can also be done with the letters in your child’s name, uppercase letters, and lowercase letters.

Sight Word Activity – Find some books to read with your child. Choose 2 or 3 words from the sight word list. ‘Hunt’ through the books looking for those words in the story. Let’s do a science experiment today! Let’s find out what things float and what things sink. Grab a big bowl or container and fill it with water. Then grab some toys or items from around the house. You could grab toy cars, forks, spoons, cotton balls, play balls, or anything else you would like. Then have your child if they think the item will sink to the bottom or float on the top. Allow your child to put the item in the water and see what it does. Continue to try with as many things as you’d like. I did this with Mackenzie and Mason yesterday and they loved it. Mason kept wanting to try different things in the water.

فلنقم بتجربة  علمية اليوم ! دعونا نتعرف على الأشياء التى تطفو  وعلى الأشياء التى تغرق. 

امسك جاط او وعاء كبير وملأه بالماء . ثم اجلب بعض الألعاب أو  الأشياء من جميع أنحاء المنزل .

يمكنك الحصول على سيارات لعبة ، أو شوك  ،أو ملاعق ،أو  قطن ،أو كرة ،أو  طابة أو  أي شيء  اخر تريده.

ثم اطلب من طفلك  يعتقد أي من الأغراض ستغرق في القاع  ،أو  ستطفو إلى الأعلى .

اسمح لطفلك بوضع شيء في الماء ومعرفة ما يفعله، استمر في المحاولة بأكبر عدد تريده من الأشياء .

فعلت هذا مع مكنزي ميسون امس وأحبوه، ظل ميسون يرغب في تجربة أشياء مختلفة في الماء   .

Counting – Help your child gather some toys or snacks. Separate them into smaller groups and have your child count how many are in each group. After counting, you can write the numbers to introduce your child to written numbers.

Number reading – Grab a piece of paper and fold it into sections (or draw different circles on it). Write a different number in each section, or in each circle. Comparing numbers/amounts – Have your child count how many items are in 2 (or more) different groups of items, such as toys or snacks. Have your child tell which group has the most/least. Extend your child’s learning by having them match the items 1 to 1 with the other group to tell how many more or less items from the other group.

جمع الأعداد: ساعد طفلك على جمع بعض الألعاب او الوجبات الخفيفة . وقم بتقسيمهم إلى مجموعات صغيرة ثم اطلب من طفلك عد كم لديه في كل مجموعة .
بعد العد يمكنك كتابة الأرقام لتعريف طفلك بالأرقام المكتوبة .

قراءة الأرقام : خذ قطعة من الورق ثم اطويها إلى أقسام ( او ارسم دوائر مختلفة عليها).

اكتب على كل قسم من الورقة رقما مختلفا . دع طفلك يحسب هذا العدد من الألعاب او الوجبات الخفيفة من كل قسم / دائرة.

مقارنة الأرقام / المبالغ : دع طفلك يحسب عدد العناصر الموجودة في مجموعتين مختلفتين ( او أكثر) من العناصر مثل الألعاب او الوجبات الخفيفة . اجعل طفلك يخبرك أي مجموعة لديها اكثر / أقل ثم طابق العاصر ١ إلى ١ مع المجموعة الأخرى لإخبار عدد العناصر أكثر أو أقل من المجموعة الأخرى .

For today I want to continue with the zoo field trip and have the children continue to work and think about animals at the zoo. Have your child move along to the Animals in Action video. Then have them think about what animals they would have at their zoo. They can draw about animals at the zoo or they could build a zoo. Talk with your child about what animals they have in their zoo. Name writing activity – Help your child practice writing his/her name. Have the name written and then allow the child to trace over the letters written. Then have your child write his/her name by self. After writing, have your child name all the letters in name. Can also practice last name, if able to do first name.

Label drawing activity – Have your child draw a picture, like a family picture or a picture of playing outside, then help your child label the different people/items in picture. Child can copy the spelling of words off another sheet of paper that someone writes out for him/her.

ثم ممارسة الاسم الأخير. إذا كان قادرا على كتابة اسمه بالأول.

نشاط رسم الملصق:
اجعل طفلك يرسم صورة . مثل صورة عائليةأوصورة للعب في الخارج ، ثم اجعل طفلك يصنف الأشخاص/ العناصر المختلفة في الصورة .
◦ يمكن للطفل نسخ هجاء الكلمات من ورقة أخرى يكتبها شخص ما بالنيابة عنة .
