AP Psych is also studying research methods- they have a quiz coming up on Monday and a reading assignment due Tuesday.
Sociology is learning about famous sociologists and the theoretical perspectives used in sociology. They took their first quiz today.

Welcome to the blog for Mrs. Vahratian’s classes. This year, all classes have been combined into one blog which will be updated each Friday. All students have been given codes to join Google Classroom and should be using that site to find daily updates and materials. Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:
Psychology classes have started studying the history of psychology and the modern perspectives used by psychologists. We will have our first quiz on this material next Thursday.
AP Psych students are also studying history & perspectives and already took their first quiz this week. AP moves quick, so it is important to keep up on the weekly reading assignments (ch 1.1 is due Tuesday!). Next week we will discuss the various research methods used in the field of psychology.
Sociology students are learning about how sociology fits into the broad field of social sciences. Next week, we will focus on analyzing the different theoretical perspectives sociologists use.
