This was our first week back after a two week break. I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

Next week are final exams. Monday and Tuesday are regular school days and final exams take place during half days Wednesday-Friday. Please see the Dearborn High School website for a complete exam schedule.

AP Psych students are halfway through unit 5- Cognition. This week, students logged in to AP Classroom to access the progress checks provided by the College Board. These are not required assignments, but are a good way to prepare for finals as well as the AP exam. AP students also have a review guide that was posted to Google Classroom prior to winter break.

Psychology and Sociology students received final exam study guides prior to winter break. Students in these classes are permitted to bring a one page, handwritten “cheat sheet” with notes to use on the final exam. This sheet will be collected, but not graded with the exam.

Sociology students have recently submitted two mini-projects- a children’s book on discrimination and prejudice and a research presentation on a topic of their choosing. Both assignments were due this week and counted as summative assessments.

Please also remember that Tuesday is the last day for students in all classes to complete test corrections or submit missing work. I will also be available after school for any students who would like help reviewing for the final exam.

Have a great weekend and keep up the hard work! We are almost halfway through the school year!
