Progressive Era primary source documents

All of you should have received the information by now. Your goal is to finish going through the primary sources then writing a CER paragraph answering one of the question that deals directly to your topic:

-Why did people, including women, oppose women’s suffrage?

-Who was a stronger advocate for African American rights-Booker T. Washington or W.E.B. Debois?

-What were conditions like in New York City tenements in the late 19th century?

-What were the attitudes of settlement house social reformers towards immigrants ?

It is due tomorrow.

Progressive Era Debate

Today we had a debate over a progressive policy to see if it was progressive or not. 1st hour critiqued the Sherman Anti-Trust Act; 4th hour critiqued the 18th amendment. We turned in your debate ideas sheets and the 2 paragraphs you wrote about progressive policies.
